The Worldschool Pop-up Hub is a week-long community gathering in Kathmandu, Nepal. The event runs from 18 to 24 January 2026. This hub offers a casual, budget-friendly opportunity for travelling families to connect with other worldschoolers. Activities highlight local history, food, and culture. Planned excursions include visiting the historic Durbar Square and important religious sites like Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple). Participants will also explore the area’s centuries of royal history and local foods.
The hub is designed for maximum flexibility for participants. Families can join for the entire week or just a few days. They choose to participate in as many activities as they desire. The itinerary also includes popular day hikes and a trip on the Chandragiri Hill Cable Car. The price is set per family, not per person. The regular ticket rate is $180 US per family. This rate covers children, parents, partners, and grandparents. Accommodation, meals, and daily transport are not included in the admission fee. Families must arrange their own lodging.
