Why I Built Travel Plan Master
Worldschooling can be deeply rewarding – but it can also feel unexpectedly isolating.
For many travelling families, the hardest part isn’t adapting to new places. It’s finding people who truly understand this lifestyle.
My Story
I’m Marianna, and I’ve been travelling and worldschooling with my daughter for years.
Along the way, we discovered something surprising:
the most meaningful moments weren’t the places we visited, they were the connections we made.
One of our most memorable experiences was camping in Albania, where we met a small group of worldschooling families. The children formed instant friendships.
The adults finally had conversations with people who understood our rhythm of travel, learning, and uncertainty.
It was a level of belonging that our non-travelling friends – as supportive as they were – simply couldn’t offer.
But those moments were rare.
Most of the time, finding other families meant searching endlessly through Facebook groups, outdated posts, and private chats. Messages were often missed. Information was scattered. Timing rarely lined up.
Even when we arrived somewhere promising, we often discovered that other families had already moved on – sometimes just days earlier.
The loneliness wasn’t caused by travelling. It came from not having a clear, reliable way to find our people – or to plan around them.

I built Travel Plan Master because I needed a better system.
